Farzana’s practice is focused on personal injury and insurance defence including cases involving multiple and complex injuries. Farzana assisted in the prosecution of one of the largest GST frauds in Canadian history and was recently involved in a multi-million dollar class action settlement. She has also worked on a variety of other commercial litigation matters including Society disputes and class actions. Farzana has appeared at all levels of court in British Columbia and has extensive experience resolving matters by way of mediation.
Farzana was called to the bar in 2001 and has been practicing general civil litigation since that time. After obtaining an honours degree in Political Science from McGill University, Farzana attended Queen’s University and obtained her law degree from the University of Victoria.
Outside of work, Farzana is a busy mother of two young children. She volunteers in the Ismaili Community and speaks fluent Gujarati.
