Les Mackoff

Les Mackoff was admitted to practice law in British Columbia in 1982. He worked as a federal prosecutor for three years before relocating to Los Angeles, California in 1985. In 1986 he was admitted to the State Bar of California where he practiced in the areas of aviation and product liability litigation before state and federal trial and appellate courts.
In 1991 Les relocated back to Vancouver. Shortly after his return he started his own practice which has grown into Mackoff Mohamed. In his 33 years as a lawyer Les has tried major criminal, commercial, personal injury and products cases and has done a significant number of jury trials. He has appeared before all levels of courts in Canada including the Supreme Court of Canada. |
A passion for Les has been sailing. He has competed in a number of long distance ocean races and has extensively cruised the coast of British Columbia. Les is married to Canadian pianist Patricia Hoy. Together they have raised two sons.
